Economy or health and quality of life of your citizens. those are the two things we need to balance. china is a good example of a country who's chosen economy over their citizens, and it's showing, and it's worrying because they def don't have our best interests in mind. but at the same time, i don't want to live like a mainland chinese person just for our economy to be good. the economy being good just means the rich people are making a lot of money, not us. we don't matter to them. it's complicated though, i guess. i have no idea how a world stage led by china or russia instead of usa would pan out, and obviously the devil you know is better than the devil you don't. like, what's the best way forward? where do we draw the compromise line? i don't really know. but what i do know is that trump is absolutely not the correct place, or rather, he's not even on the spectrum, he's just a crazy psychotic old dementia patient. i'm leaning bernie warren, but the whole system is too complicated for one person to understand. i just feel like i could read about national and geopolitics for the rest of my life, and still not know the right answer, or the most utilitarian answer, idk.

They believe the animals are dying because the town's largest employer, Dupont, is polluting the water with chemicals from their facility. First Hit: An excellent portrayal of corporate malfeasance and arrogance, finally getting its comeuppance.

During an important meeting, he's interrupted by Wilber Tennent (Bill Camp) and friend who come from a farm in Parkersburg, West Virginia. They come to see Bilott because Roberts's grandmother, Grammy, is a friend of Tennent.
Although Bilott's firm doesn't have Dupont as a corporate client, they are reluctant to take on a nonpaying client that is going to end up suing Dupont as it will hurt their reputation with their own corporate clients. “Please. Give me another shot.” You know what Adam Sandler, I think I will. One of the best movies of 2019. Safdie Bros are killing it.
